An eventful holiday
Last year, my parents decided to send me to London for the summer holidays. It was my first time abroad on my own and I was really nervous. The night before the trip, I couldn't sleep. Before I went to bed, I had packed a suitcase with all my clothes, my digital camera and my travel documents but I couldn't stop thinking there was something I had forgotten to include in it.
By the time I got to the airport, my mother had phoned me three times. "Did you take the passport?" "Yes, mum!!!" Two minutes later, "Did you take the umbrella?" "Yes, mum"...

She went to the police station at the airport to say to them that she had lost her passport at the aiport and she needed a new one to go to London. By the time they finished the new passport, the plane had already gone. So, she phoned her mum and she went back home.
